Competitive Program
Our competitive program offers three teams designed to support different goals and experiences.
Spotlight Dance Team
Established in 1988, Spotlight Dance Team is geared towards advanced dancers (approximate ages 10 to 18) who wish to continue to advanced their technical dance training through competitive, educational, and community-forward dance opportunities. Dancers and their families invited to Spotlight Dance Team are dedicated, have proven proficiency in competitive environments, are strong technical dancers, and demonstrate enthusiastic adherence to studio policies
and procedures.
Excel Performance Troupe
Established in 2011, Excel Performance Troupe is geared towards younger dancers (approximately ages 6 to 13) who wish to explore advancing their technical dance training through competitive, educational, and community-forward dance opportunities. Dancers and their families invited to Excel Performance Troupe are dedicated, show great potential, have a solid technical foundation, and demonstrate enthusiastic adherence to studio policies and procedures.
Excel Performance Ensemble
Excel Ensemble is designed for dedicated dancers (approximately ages 11–18) who are ready to expand their competitive experience while continuing to grow technically and artistically. This team provides a supportive, high-quality training environment for dancers balancing other interests while building the skills, confidence, and commitment to further their growth. Dancers and their families invited to Excel Ensemble are dedicated, show great potential, have a solid technical foundation, and demonstrate enthusiastic adherence to studio policies and procedures.
