Regular attendance and being on time for class is extremely important for your student as well as their classmates so they can get the most out of their classes and perform to the best of their ability in the recital. Make-up lessons may be taken for classes missed only due to illness, holidays (other than Christmas and Easter Breaks or bad weather. Make-up lessons will not be given on any Visitor's Day in December 2011 or in March, April or May, 2012 due to recital preparations. Make-up lessons should be taken following the make-up schedule that will be posted on October 1, 2011 on the bulletin board in our waiting room.
A minimum attendance level is required. If a student must miss class, 7 classes in one subject are allowed for the year. However, if a student misses 8 classes during the year in one subject, they will not be allowed to participate in that number in the recital whether or not the classes have been made up or the costume(s) ordered. Make-up lessons do not excuse absences.
In addition, when their tardy minutes add up to the length of a class, they will receive an absence.
2011-2012 VISITOR'S DAY
A Visitor's Day will be held during each dance class at their regular time following the schedule below.
Studio #1 - Monday, November 28 - Saturday, December 3, 2011 Studio #2 - Monday, December 5 - Saturday, December 10, 2011 Studio #3 - Monday, December 12 - Saturday, December 17, 2011
We ask that you limit your visitors to 2 per student in 1 vehicle and all classes will let out 15 minutes early due to parking lot congestion. We have discontinued the Pollyanna Gift Exchange and serving refreshments. Cameras are welcome.
